The BD-90 dries wood chips, digestate, and agricultural residues from up to 55% moisture down to below 10% in a single pass, using a low-temperature belt design that preserves calorific value and avoids VOC flash-off.
Its defining feature is the hybrid heat loop: waste heat from engines, digesters, or process exhaust provides the base load, topped by an optional solar thermal array. Most installations run with zero purchased fuel.
The ATEX Zone 22 rated drive line and dust management system make it suitable for enclosed fuel-prep buildings, and the modular belt sections extend from 90 to 270 m² of drying area as throughput grows.
